Daily Schedule
At Sunny Steps Learning, every day follows a carefully prepared schedule designed to support your child's development while providing structure and routine.
Note about Infants
Infants follow individualized schedules for feeding, diaper changes, and nap times. We maintain detailed sleep logs with 15-minute check-ins to ensure each baby's safety and comfort.
Breakfast
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Healthy, organic breakfast teaching the importance of nutritional variety
- Served family-style to promote conversation and social dining habits.
Free Play / Outdoors
9:00AM – 10:00 AM
Active outdoor time in our safe backyard:
- Chalk play on hard surfaces
- Running and gross motor activities
- Nature exploration
- Group games
Or Indoor free play (child's choice of game)
Circle Time (morning)
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
- Start the day together with songs, stories, and sharing.
- Circle time helps children develop social skills, learn to take turns, and build community.

Stretching & Yoga

Nutritious, organic meals prepared with care. Family-style dining promotes conversation and healthy eating habits.
Nap Time
12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
- Quiet rest period to support growth, learning, and afternoon energy
- Individual sleep needs respected in a calm, soothing environment
Free Play
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM
- Child-directed play with toys, games, or creative activities of their choosing
- Gentle encouragement to play with different friends and include others, respecting each child's social comfort level.
Snacks
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Healthy, organic snacks served family-style, teaching nutrition and social dining habits.
